Broadcast Traffic Professionals Day: The Unsung Heroes Who Keep Your Radio from Complete Chaos

Description

We celebrated the unsung heroes who schedule commercials with military precision, pondered what our headstones might say if we got to write them ourselves, and somehow ended up at a psychic who couldn't find her own rental car—because nothing says "gift" like guessing wrong with confidence.

Show Notes

Schuyler Black and Bobby Dewrell kicked off Monday morning on 100.3 KROCK with a mock traffic report — because today is Broadcast Traffic Professionals Day, honoring the unsung heroes who schedule commercials with spreadsheets, caffeine, and quiet rage. We saluted the folks who make sure the car dealership screams at you at 7:20 and the lawyer shows up twice in the same break like a bad habit with a budget. Also on deck: Dynamic Harmlessness Day (flail with enthusiasm, accomplish nothing, still demand a parade) and Practice Being Psychic Day (guessing wrong with confidence and calling it a gift). We closed out the holiday rundown with Plan Your Epitaph Day — spring cleaning for your soul, except the closet is your entire life and the donation pile is your ego.

Election Day is tomorrow, folks. Early voting in Florida wrapped up Saturday, so if you haven't cast your ballot yet, your regular precinct is open 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. We've got a link to find your polling location at thebteamshow.com. Tomorrow night from 5 to 7 at Fort Walton Beach High School, there's a fish fry fundraiser supporting head football coach Josh Pulliam and his family as he goes through cancer treatment — $10 per plate, prepared with help from Dewey Destin's. Then Wednesday night is the big rivalry game: Fort Walton versus Choctaw. Because nothing says Friday night lights like a Wednesday. Church be damned — the real religion is high school football.

Uncle Bobby dispensed wisdom to "Confetti Hostage," who got voluntold onto the office fun committee with no budget and no time. Bobby's advice? Tell your manager you can take on one defined piece, but she needs to tell you what should move if this is now part of your job. The magic sentence: "I can take on the birthday calendar if you want me to pause the weekly report — which one should I deprioritize?" The crockpot does have a lid. Meanwhile, Stripes Pub & Grill in Navarre is serving 50-cent wings tonight for Monday Night Football — Bears at Seahawks. And Okaloosa Gas and OutKast Sushi in Miramar Beach keep the lights on and the sushi rolls rolling. Milling and resurfacing work on Airport Road in Destin starts today, so expect delays and flagger directions through November 12th.

In college football, Florida State parted ways with Mike Norvell after seven years — poor guy's only walking away with $50 million. We're starting a GoFundMe. Saturday's big games include 9th-ranked Bama at 15th-ranked LSU (2:30 kickoff on 103.7 The Ticket) and 25th-ranked Florida hosting Oklahoma at the Swamp (6:45). If you think you know how it'll go down, put your ball knowledge to the test on Hard Rock Bet, Florida's only legal sportsbook. Must be 21 and over, physically present in Florida to wager. Concerned about your gambling? Call or text 1-833-PLAYWISE. Next Thursday, November 12th, is the Downtown Fort Walton Beach Coffee Club at 8:30 — Bobby and I will be broadcasting live. And the Fort Walton Beach Christmas Parade is set for Monday, December 7th at 6:30 p.m., embracing this year's theme: Inside Santa's Workshop. Mark your calendars, Emerald Coast — and keep on rockin'.

(00:01) Here's today's B Team Redux. 3KROCK, it's time to head out to our traffic reporter in the Kronk Copter 100.3. We head to Bobby Dewrell with a look at the morning commute. Yeah, well, it's looking pretty good, Schuyler. Very good. Very good. 616 is the time. And we open up the B Team Morning Show that specific way, because today, Monday, November 2nd, is Broadcast Traffic Professionals Day. (00:33) That's right. It's the salute to the folks who schedule our commercials so precisely that even our dignity gets a heart attack. Oh, Broadcast Traffic Professionals Day is that magical little blip on the calendar where we pretend the people who schedule commercials aren't holding the entire station together with spreadsheets, caffeine, and quiet rage. (00:55) Yeah, you know, they're the ones who make sure the car dealership screams at you at 720, the mattress place haunts you at 723, and somehow the lawyer shows up twice in the same break like a bad habit with a budget. You know, it's a holiday for the folks who can hear, we need to move that spot and not just immediately walk into the Gulf. (01:13) So, yeah, it's absurd. Like most things in radio. But, hey, if you like your paycheck arriving on time and your log not looking like a crime scene, well, you'll show a little respect. Broadcast Traffic Professionals Day. Now, you brought up the lawyer commercials. (01:31) That's right. You notice how none of the attorneys here in Fort Walton have those egregious vanity phone numbers? Like, call 888-8888. Oh, yeah, or like the Vance Law Firm up in Troy, like 334 and dial 3. (01:46) 334? Yeah, because that's their area code. Yeah. 334. Oh, and then dial seven threes after that. That's right. And then the numbers 333, 33, 33. God, that's annoying. Well, good morning, everybody. (02:02) 618 is the time. I'm Schuyler Black. He's Bobby Turrell. We are the B Team Morning Show brought to you by our friends at Stripes Pub and Grill in Navarre, Okaloosa Gas, and Outkast Sushi in Miramar Beach. We're going to see a high today up to 80 degrees or around 65 here in Fort Walton this morning. (02:19) We'll check that full forecast in just a little bit. Three more national holidays to get to as we move through the 6 o'clock hour. Plus, we'll give you, oh, some details on things that happened over the weekend and Monday Night Football tonight, Election Day tomorrow. (02:38) Lots to chat about as we move through the first half of the work week. But first, Kansas fight fire with fire. It's the B Team Morning Show on 100.3 KROCK. Open up a brand new month. Emerson, Lake, and Palmer, welcome to the B Team Show. (02:58) Yeah, okay. It's the B Team Morning Show. I'm Schuyler Black. He's Bobby Turrell. We appreciate you dialing in and spending this Monday morning with us. Monday Night Football tonight, taking a look at that matchup. (03:13) 4-3 Seattle hosting 5-2 Chicago. Don't forget tonight at Stripes Pub & Grill in Navarre, they are offering 50-cent wings every Monday through the NFL regular season. Well, today on the National Day Calendar, Bobby, we talk about Dynamic Harmlessness Day. (03:33) That's right. That's when you fell with enthusiasm, accomplished nothing, and still demand to permade. You know, basically, it's corporate teamwork with a calendar invite. Yeah, y'all are invited. Come on. Yeah, it kind of explains most of your life. Dynamic Harmlessness Day is that annual group project where we all pretend we can weaponize good intentions without anybody getting a scratch. (03:55) See, you spend 24 hours practicing high-octane restraint, aggressive politeness, competitive de-escalation, and the kind of mindful breathing that makes your enemies nervous. See, the whole premise is simple. (04:10) You got to move through the world like a storm cloud that never rains. Loud in the sky, but somehow not a problem. Yeah, it's absurd. Okay, look. But so is your usual coping strategy. So clear your calendar and try not to emotionally jaywalk. (04:27) All right. Dynamic Harmlessness Day. Yeah, I like how you open that up. Flail with enthusiasm, accomplish nothing, still demand to parade. Basically, corporate teamwork with a calendar invite. Thank you to all my volunteers for helping me doorknock yesterday. That's exactly what I was thinking. (04:43) All right. We got two more national holidays to get into. Plus, the downtown Fort Walton Beach November Coffee Club has been scheduled. We'll tell you about that coming up here in just a little bit on the B Team Morning Show with 100.3 KROCK. (05:01) The Classic Rock Station, 100.3 KROCK. It's the B Team Morning Show. Schuyler Black and Bobby Dewrell on Monday, November 2nd. Of course, yesterday we fell back, so everybody got an extra hour of sleep this morning, or the last couple of days at least. (05:20) And tomorrow is Election Day. Early voting in the state of Florida is now over. And if you haven't cast your ballot yet, tomorrow on Election Day is the last chance to do so. Well, Bobby, we've got another national holiday to get to this morning. (05:38) It's Practice Being Psychic Day. Oh, yeah. Because nothing screams credible like guessing wrong with confidence and calling it a gift. Oh. And getting paid for it, too. Yeah, yeah, yeah. (05:53) It's called meteorology. Essentially, yeah. There was a trip. Man, I was pretty early in my career, but I ended up out in New Mexico. And I'm at the airport, and I'm in the rental car line. And the lady in front of me was talking about how she was there for the psychic convention and everything. (06:11) And she was talking to the guy about how psychic she was and everything. So I get through, and she leaves. And they go to get to their car, her and her assistant. I get all my stuff, and I'm walking out to pick up my heart's rental car. (06:26) And, well, they're out there in the parking lot, and they're lost. They can't find their car. I don't know why that's always been funny to me. But you would think the psychic would know right where her car was. You would think. I mean, I've lost my car before. I had to call the police to come find it after a ballgame. (06:43) Well, it was a rental car. And she couldn't figure out which rental car was hers. You feel like you just know. Maybe she wasn't a very good psychic. I don't think so. Maybe she didn't have her crystal ball with her. Practice being psychic day is that special little holiday where you stare into the void, and the void stares back. (07:01) And you both pretend it's intuition. You know, the official activity is guessing what's about to happen, which is adorable. Because most people can't predict their own lunch without a group chat and a minor in panic. But you can do tarot, crystals, vibes, and just call it a feeling and act mysterious about it. (07:18) If you're the human trailer for a movie nobody asked for. Either way, it's one day a year to rehearse being right in advance. Because being wrong in real time clearly wasn't humiliating enough. All right. Hey, next Thursday, November 12th, is the next Downtown Fort Walton Beach Coffee Club. (07:38) Starts at 8.30. Bobby and I will be out there broadcasting live next Thursday. We've got details on the events tab at thebteamshow.com. Great White now on 100.3 KROCK. Well, Bobby, I felt like we had to play that song today because it is Steve Dudley's birthday. (07:58) And it's an urgent emergency. Well, he always wants to hear urgent. Crank that up, Steve. Crank that up in that city truck as you drive around this morning. And happy birthday. Yeah, happy birthday. And what a hell of a day to have a birthday on. (08:14) Is that right? Yeah, just thinking. Why do you say that? I don't know. Holidays, you know. Whatever day it is. Plan your epitaph day? Epitaph. (08:29) Epitaph? I was close, Bobby. Yeah, because nothing says living like pre-writing your Yelp review for The Grave. Oh. You know what an epitaph is, right? Not really, no. Yeah, I figured you didn't. Never seen the word in my life. Epitaph is what's on a headstone. (08:47) Oh, well that's dark. So the older headstones that would give a story. Here lies... Not just, yeah, so and so. Rusty bones. Yeah. Yeah, that's... There you go. Thanks. Loses a lot when your co-host doesn't know English. (09:04) What is an epitaph? Plan your epitaph day is a charming little calendar prank where you sit down and write the sentence strangers will read while you decide if you were a saint, a menace, or just a loud restaurant. Yeah. (09:19) You know, it's not about being morbid. It's about finally admitting your legacy. It's probably going to fit on a rock next to a patch of crap grass. So you pick the vibe now. Is it funny, noble, mysterious, or just brutally honest? (09:34) Because your family will absolutely choose something embarrassing when you're not around to object. So consider it spring cleaning for your soul. Except the closest is your entire life and the donation pile is your ego. (09:49) You want to take a field trip to Tombstone? All right, that's our last national holiday this morning, but I do want to say happy birthday, Mr. Dudley. That's right. That's right. Happy birthday, Dudster. He's 53 now. He's caught up to you. You got him beat by about 28 days. If that's true, that's been a hard 53. (10:11) Big week here in Fort Walton Beach. Obviously tomorrow there's Election Day and we're going to have the link posted at thebteamshow.com on the show notes tab to show you exactly where your precinct and polling place is. There is a tool on Paul Lux, the Supervisor of Elections website. We've posted that online for you to go and click on right from our website. So that'll be up by 8 o'clock this morning, but tomorrow night is a fish fry dinner supporting Fort Walton Beach High School head football coach Josh Pulliam. That's tomorrow night from 5 to 7 at Fort Walton Beach High School. It's $10 per plate and prepared with help from Dewey Destin's featuring local fish. All the proceeds benefit the Pulliam family as they go through Coach Pulliam's cancer treatment cycle and process. So if you can get out there and support the cause tomorrow night, we would greatly appreciate it. Then Wednesday night, Bobby, is the game. Fort Walton and Choctaw, Wednesday night, because nothing says high school Friday night lights like a Wednesday. That's right, so church be damned. The real religion is Choctaw versus Fort Walton. Yeah, let's see how that goes. (11:42) Can't believe you're playing that iconic game on a church night. That's crazy for around a year. So anyway, a couple big nights coming up, but don't forget about Coach Pulliam's fish fry fundraiser tomorrow night from 5 to 7 at Fort Walton Beach High School. All right, just after 7 o'clock, I'm Schuyler Black, he is Bobby Dewrell. We are the B Team Morning Show. Hope everybody had a great weekend. Finally got some rain. First time we've seen rain since the storm. That is true. That is true. Got a little bit of rain. Changed times. (12:19) Sunset tonight at 458, but it shows to be very promising. Scoring 89 out of 100. That's pretty damn good. About 39% cloud cover through the golden hour. Like we said, it's best between 30 and 60% there. It's going to be promising. It should be really promising. Sunrise tomorrow at 602 looks to be decent. Decent at 65 out of 100 on that one. A little more cloud cover, about 64%. Just out of the window brings it down a little bit. Yeah, it was interesting driving in this morning at 545 and it was not completely pitch black outside. That's true. That's true. That's true. That comes at 430 in the afternoon now. Yeah, we now have sunset before 5 o'clock. Hey, small craft should exercise caution over all bays and sounds through Tuesday. It's going to be a small craft advisory out there. Today we got east winds 15 to 20 knots with gusts up to 25 knots. Seas 4 to 6 feet occasionally to 8. Going to be southeast 6 feet at 7 seconds on that wave detail. Going to be a little bumpy out there. A little choppy out there. Tonight looking at east winds 15 to 20 again with gusts up to 25. Again, seas 4 to 6 occasionally to 8 feet and same wave detail at southeast 6 feet at 7 seconds. It's going to be consistent all day today into the evening. Cool. All right. Well, stay with us. We got lots to get to this morning. Obviously we talked about the fish fry for Coach Polium tomorrow and the game on Wednesday this week. We'll talk more about other local stories that we've got coming up here as we move through this Monday morning. 7.10 is the time. Schuyler Black and Bobby Dewrell, the B Team Morning Show is on the air. 100.3 KROCK. Good morning, everybody. 7.22 the time. It's the B Team Morning Show. Schuyler Black and Bobby Dewrell. Looks like some overcast skies this morning and about 66 degrees here in Fort Walton. A high today of 80 this afternoon. We'll check your full forecast here in just a little bit. Over the weekend, Friday night, congratulations to Megs Middle School. They won the Okaloosa County title for junior high football. Megs took down Destin 27-21 in the county championship game when 8th grader Curie Robinson intercepted a pass at his own 10-yard line and returned it 90 yards for a pick six with just 15 seconds remaining in the game. Pretty damn cool. The victory gave Megs its first perfect season and first county title since 1992. Pretty darn cool for that kid. He's going to be a legend in Megs history forever. Potentially. Potentially. Also, the city of Fort Walton Beach will reinstate late fees and service disconnections for overdue utility accounts beginning on November 16th, ending a temporary suspension put in place after Hurricane Dale. (15:44) Customers with past due balances are urged to settle accounts before the resumption of normal delinquency processing. You've got about two weeks on that, but again, the disconnections and late fees will start again on Monday, November 16th. (16:03) We are the B Team Morning Show. Schuyler Black and Bobby Dewrell this morning. It's Monday. First Monday of November. Two months left in this year. Has 2026 lived up to be everything you wanted it to be? You know what? I think it's getting better. I think it's getting better. I will say, I know that 25, I was so ready to put in the damn rearview mirror that anything could have looked better. You were over it. Yeah. It didn't quite hit as quick or as fast as I hoped it would, but I feel like it's on the mend. I feel like there's hope, and hopefully nobody screws that up tomorrow, but I'm still after getting from 2020 to 2025. I'm, if nothing, more cynical. (17:01) Heard that. I'm just waiting for the other shoe to drop. There you go. God knows there's enough idiots out there. It's not impossible, Bobby. You know what? Tell me. In fact, it might be likely. Again, I'm cautiously optimistic. I hear you. Hey, we're about 20 minutes away from your Daily Advice. Ask Uncle Bobby coming up around 7.40, brought to you by our friends at Hard Rock Bet, so stay with us. We'll get to Uncle Bobby's advice in just a little bit, and then kind of recap some college football from this last weekend and give you a preview on games to look forward to this weekend. A quick break and a look at your forecast is coming up next on the B Team Morning Show with 100.3 KROCK. It's the B Team Morning Show on 100.3 KROCK, the classic rock station. Man, that was a wild, wild event in West Palm Beach yesterday. Nine people on board a private jet were killed after it crashed into a residential neighborhood in Palm Beach County yesterday afternoon. Yeah, that was crazy. Learjet 60 was traveling from Austin to the Bahamas when it suddenly plunged towards the ground near a busy roadway and erupted into a massive fireball. A shocking video captured the plane nosediving before exploding, leaving behind a massive crater just feet from nearby homes. (18:30) Now, authorities have not released the identities of those on board, but it sounds like nobody on the ground was impacted or injured by this. No, but something like 600 residents were displaced. Oh, wow. They were moved out of the area after the crash from a local mobile home park and surrounding. So, yeah, that plane came down at 25,000 feet per minute. (18:53) Holy smokes. It dropped 25,000 feet in less than a minute. Wow. That's a near vertical impact. Yeah. That's just crazy. I don't know what it would take to make a plane nosedive and lose altitude that quickly without losing your horizontal stabilizer. Well, the last that I heard that they were talking about in the reports that I read last night, well, last night about 2 a.m. this morning, the last calls into ATC were that they were complaining that the wings were icing and they were asking to fly out of the storm up to 37,000 feet and then they lost contact. Interesting. And the last transmission was that they were in rapid descent. Wow. Yeah, it's just a tragic situation, but I'm sure it'll take a while for this investigation. Well, they got to find the black box. They got to find all that fun stuff. And I'm sure with an impact like that, there are pieces and debris. (19:59) Oh yeah. But no, it was not a missile. It was not a missile made to look like a plane. Bobby says, put the conspiracies back in your pocket. Yeah, let's just be real. (20:15) Hey, taking a look at college football this weekend, we've got some games we're going to carry for you on Sister Station 1037. Big one in Baton Rouge. 15th ranked LSU hosting 9th ranked Alabama. That's a 2.30 kickoff Saturday afternoon on 1037 the ticket. (20:34) Saturday night from Gainesville at the Swamp. 25th ranked Florida hosting Oklahoma. I'm not sure how Florida is still ranked 25th. They've lost three games. Another big matchup this weekend. 10th ranked Texas on the road in Columbia taking on 19th ranked Missouri. (20:56) So there's a look at some ranked on ranked matchups this week. Now, Florida State going to be in action Saturday morning at Boston College. 11 o'clock. We'll carry that on 94.3 FTW. If you hadn't heard, Florida State University parted ways with Mike Norvell after his, I believe, seventh season. (21:21) Yeah, well, last. I believe he was at the helm for seven years. Two really solid years in there. In 22, went 10-3. In, obviously, 23, they went 13-0, won the ACC title, and then got left out of the CFP. (21:42) Yep. But the last two and a half years have not been good, and so administration there decided to make a change yesterday. Yeah, and he's going to have to leave with just $50 million. So we're going to start a GoFundMe for him at TheBTeamShow.com. (21:59) Poor guy. I swear, man, I just want to coach one year at the collegiate level and get fired. Yeah. I could be set for life. Set. Doesn't even take 50 mil. You know, Coach Dewrell, you're fired. What are you going to do? (22:14) Bahamas! I don't know how to tell you all this, but I just made FU money. I hear you. All right, stick tight. We're about seven minutes away from Ask Uncle Bobby on this Monday morning. (22:31) It's the B Team Morning Show. Schuyler Black and Bobby Dewrell. Rest in peace to this fellow right here. Donnie Iris, a Pittsburgher, a Yinzer. Aaliyah. 100.3 KROCK. The Classic Rock Station. (22:46) It's the B Team Morning Show. 7.48 is the time. Cloudy skies here in Fort Walton Beach. And 66 right now. We'll see a little more sunshine as we move through the day. And a high today. Up to 80 degrees. (23:01) Well, it's the point in time this morning where we need to turn to Uncle Bobby for advice. That's right. It's your daily advice. Ask Uncle Bobby. All brought to you by our friends at Hard Rock Bet. That's right. Touchdowns win games and they win bets, too. (23:18) So pick your favorite playmaker to reach pay dirt on Hard Rock Bet. And if you're searching for bigger payout, well, stack your picks into an epic parlay. Bet week nine on Hard Rock Bet, Florida's only legal sports book. It's offered by the Seminole Tribe of Florida. (23:34) Must be 21 and over. Physically present in Florida to wager. Terms and conditions apply. Concerned about your gambling? We'll call or text 1-833-PLAYWISE. PLAYWISE. Well, today, Uncle Bobby, your question comes in from Confetti Hostage. Dear Uncle Bobby, my manager added me to the office fund committee without asking. (23:53) She says it will only take a few minutes a week, but now I'm being asked to plan a gratitude wall, a holiday lunch, and a birthday calendar with no budget. Now, I already have a full workload, and I don't want to look like I'm not a team player. (24:09) So how do I get out of becoming the unpaid morale person? Well, Confetti Hostage, look, this is not a fund committee, okay? No, it's a company crockpot where management dumps guilt, steal candy, and one employee still cares about seeming nice. (24:28) See, look, this is the whole machine, right? They do not want to fix the things that actually make people miserable because those things cost money and require somebody with the title to make a decision before lunch. No. See, see, pay is expensive. (24:44) Staffing is expensive. Competent scheduling, expensive. But a gratitude wall? Hey, look, that's $0.12 a tape, and you're Wednesday afternoon wearing a little paper hat. Yeah. Look, look, I'm not against office celebrations. (24:59) Some people enjoy arranging cupcakes and birthday cards and napkins the color of municipal regret. You know, good for them. Look, look, let them bloom, okay? If a person likes being in a village bell tower or sheet cake, well, I salute the service. (25:16) But liking it is different from being assigned it because you made the fatal mistake of seeming reliable. See, the great lie is just a few minutes. See, see, nothing at work takes a few minutes. (25:32) A few minutes is how they describe any task they are not doing. After a few minutes becomes emails, reminders, dietary restrictions, vendor calls, calendar invites, cleanup, and somebody named Todd asking why his birthday was listed under optional. Then, when your real work is late, well, the same people look at you like you wandered off to the study ballroom theory on company time. (25:56) Look, your answer needs to be plain enough to survive being forwarded. Tell your manager you can help with one defined piece, but your workload is already assigned, so she needs to tell you what should move if this is now part of your job. (26:14) See, put it in writing, not dramatic, not wounded, right? Not a speech about how you deserve air and daylight, just the math. The magic sentence is, I can take on the birthday calendar this month if you want me to pause the weekly report or shift the client follow-up, which one should I deprioritize? (26:33) See, there, look, little silver fork straight into the pot roast of nonsense. And if she says nothing has to move, then nothing new gets built. No budget means the holiday lunch is a room reservation and a dream. (26:49) No time means the gratitude wall is a blank wall with ambition. No authority means you're not responsible when the circus horse refuses to wear the hat. But do not become the keeper of cheer. (27:07) Take one small chore if you must, do it clean, and stop at the fence. See, the company wanted joy squeezed out of thin air, fine. Give them the portion that fits inside the job they are willing to make room for. The crockpot does have a lid. (27:24) Alright, there's your advice, Confetti Hostage. I think you can work with that. I hope so, I mean, solid advice. Solid advice. That's what we're talking about right there. You can find all the solid advice online at thebteamshow.com. (27:41) That's right, just go to thebteamshow.com. You can find all your past Ask Uncle Bobby advice, plus if you go to DewBob.com, d-e-w-bob.com, you can find all the past advice and your exclusive Do Bob merch. That's true. (27:57) Alright, we'll take a quick break, pay a few bills, come right back with a look at local news, and lover boy on the way on the Classic Rock Station 100.3 KROCK. Communication breakdown. Best ringtone I ever had. (28:13) Yeah, coming from an IT guy. Heard that a time or two, huh? Yeah, yeah. It's the B Team Morning Show on 100.3 KROCK, the Classic Rock Station. Beautiful Monday here to start the month of November. (28:28) It is Monday, November 2nd. Tomorrow is Election Day. We're waking up with mostly cloudy skies this morning across our area, 66 degrees high today, climbing all the way up to 80 degrees. And early voting ended here in the state of Florida on a Saturday, Bobby. (28:46) Tomorrow is Election Day, so if you didn't vote absentee by mail or early voting, then tomorrow is the last day to cast your ballot. And the last couple election cycles, Floridians have kind of in thirds voted. (29:02) A third early, a third by mail, and a third on Election Day. So with Election Day tomorrow, the Okaloosa County Supervisor of Elections Office is reminding residents to check their assigned polling location before heading out to vote. (29:17) The county offers an online voting location finder that allows residents to quickly identify where they need to cast their ballots by entering their address and street name. Now, voters should enter their information directly into the website and then select their street from the available options. (29:35) Addresses cannot be copied and pasted into the search field. Now, tomorrow, Election Day Tuesday, November 3rd, voters must report to their assigned precinct with polls open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. (29:50) And residents should also remember to bring an approved photo ID with a signature. So that is coming up tomorrow morning. There are links to finding the Supervisor of Elections location tool. If you go to the bteamshow.com, click on the show notes tab, we've got the link there for you so you'll be able to easily find out where you vote tomorrow if you are unsure. So there you go. (30:20) Well, a Florida man who threw nearly 4,000 pounds worth of trash into a canal has also been arrested for meth possession. Oh, yeah? Uh-huh. Now, witnesses say that this man has been doing it for months with some of the dumped items, including fencing materials, tree debris, tires, and a fiberglass boat even.
