Choctawhatchee High Cadet Completes Obstacle Course As Eagle Scout Project

Get The Coast— Dean Ferguson, a senior and commander of Choctawhatchee High School's Air Force JROTC unit, built a 250-foot obstacle course and orienteering training area on school grounds over the summer as his Eagle Scout project. The course, which opened with a ribbon cutting Wednesday, includes low crawls, tire runs and monkey bars for cadets to use during training.

Niceville's VB Season Ends At The Hands Of Middleburg

My kids are going trick-or-treating this weekend, except it is a trunk-or-treat in a church parking lot with forty minivans, decorated hatchbacks and a two-hour window under a security light. I remember carrying a pillowcase through the neighborhood until the streetlights came on, and I feel weirdly sad watching Halloween get turned into a scheduled event. Am I being dramatic, or did we take the adventure out of it?
