Ask Uncle Bobby
Bad advice for good people.
As heard on the B-Team Morning Show
Each weekday, some poor soul writes in for help. Uncle Bobby gives them the worst advice we can legally put on the air.
October 28 · Today's Letter
Dear Uncle Bobby,
I joined my neighborhood Facebook group because someone lost a gray cat named Pickles, and now I have seen three hundred comments about a sedan parked the wrong direction, a suspicious man who turned out to be the mailman, and whether fireworks should be treated like a war crime. It is always the same six people posting, correcting, accusing, and announcing things like they are the mayor of mulch. Is this what my neighborhood actually thinks?

Celebrate the weird stuff. We do.
Holiday #1 of 4
National Chocolate Day
National Chocolate Day is that charming little calendar scam where we all pretend a square of cocoa absolves our sins and counts as self-care. It’s not a real holiday, it’s a permission slip—issued by Big Candy and cosigned by your inner raccoon—to eat something sweet at 10 a.m. and call it “celebrating.” People will argue dark versus milk like it’s politics, post glossy photos like they churned the stuff themselves, and somehow nobody brings up the part where we’re basically worshipping sugar in a fancy wrapper. So go ahead, participate with pride and a napkin, because today’s about chocolate… and tomorrow’s about explaining the receipts.
