What We're Talking About

The news we couldn't ignore if we tried

Byron Donalds Visits Niceville

Florida's Voice— Republican gubernatorial nominee Byron Donalds campaigned across Florida’s Panhandle on October 26, 2026, as part of his “Defending the Florida Dream” bus tour ahead of the November 3 general election. During a rally at Faith Independent Baptist Church in Niceville, Donalds joined Florida Chief Financial Officer Blaise Ingoglia and local lawmakers to encourage conservative voters to support Republican candidates. He highlighted his priorities of reducing property insurance premiums by 20%, providing property tax relief for seniors and working families, and protecting school choice, including private schools, charter schools, and homeschooling. Donalds also emphasized Florida’s conservative values, public safety, family principles, and constitutional freedoms while expressing confidence about his gubernatorial campaign. Other Republican officials urged supporters to remain politically engaged and increase voter turnout, warning that Democrats were making strong efforts to gain ground in the state. The tour continued with a stop at Eastern Shipbuilding Group in Panama City, followed by planned campaign events in Leon, Suwannee, and Lake counties.

Ask Uncle Bobby

Bad advice for good people.

As heard on the B-Team Morning Show

Each weekday, some poor soul writes in for help. Uncle Bobby gives them the worst advice we can legally put on the air.

October 27 · Today's Letter

Dear Uncle Bobby,

I opened my quarterly 401(k) statement and it was down again, and I swear my left eye started twitching. I’m 53, my dad retired with a pension and a gold watch, and I’ve been told for thirty years that the market always comes back. Should I be panicking or am I just finally noticing the scam?

Today's Holidays

Celebrate the weird stuff. We do.

Holiday #1 of 4

Vote Early Day

Vote Early Day is that shiny little civic “holiday” where we all pretend the best way to honor democracy is to treat your ballot like a crockpot recipe: set it early and walk away. The pitch is simple—skip the Election Day scrum, beat the lines, dodge whatever fresh chaos is waiting like a raccoon in a trash can. It’s part public service, part panic management, and part reminder that the system runs best when you don’t show up all at once like it’s a concert and there’s only one door. Anyway, mark your calendar and act responsible in advance, because nothing says freedom like scheduling your participation.
