Ask Uncle Bobby

Bad advice for good people.

As heard on the B-Team Morning Show

Each weekday, some poor soul writes in for help. Uncle Bobby gives them the worst advice we can legally put on the air.

October 23 · Today's Letter

Dear Uncle Bobby,

The clocks fall back next weekend. My phone will fix itself. My oven, my microwave, my car and my coffee maker won't. Every year I fix two of them, give up on the rest, and spend the whole winter doing math in my own kitchen. Is there a better way to live?

Today's Holidays

Celebrate the weird stuff. We do.

Holiday #1 of 4

National Croc Day

National Croc Day is the annual reminder that somewhere along the timeline, we stopped asking “should we” and started asking “does it come in neon.” It’s a celebration of those foam clogs that look like a boat ramp had a baby with a Swiss cheese wheel, plus the brave souls who wear ’em like they’re making a statement instead of a cry for help. People “customize” them with little plastic trinkets, because nothing says personal growth like accessorizing your footwear with tiny cartoon mushrooms. And for one glorious day, we all pretend this is about comfort and not the slow, steady collapse of shame.
