Ask Uncle Bobby

Bad advice for good people.

As heard on the B-Team Morning Show

Each weekday, some poor soul writes in for help. Uncle Bobby gives them the worst advice we can legally put on the air.

October 22 · Today's Letter

Dear Uncle Bobby,

My best friend doesn't text. She sends voice memos. Seven minutes long. Recorded while driving, with wind noise, a drive-thru order in the middle, and the actual question somewhere around minute five. I have eleven unplayed ones and now she's asking why I never answer. I love her. I just can't do it. What do I do?

Today's Holidays

Celebrate the weird stuff. We do.

Holiday #1 of 4

National Nut Day

National Nut Day is that glorious little speed bump on the calendar where we all pretend a handful of almonds is a personality and a jar of peanut butter counts as self-care. It’s a celebration of the world’s most overachieving snack: crunchy, smug, and somehow always involved when somebody starts talking about “healthy fats” like they just discovered fire. The whole thing is basically an excuse to eat trail mix out of spite and call it tradition, which, honestly, is how most holidays get started. Stick around—because if we’re honoring nuts, we’re gonna have to talk about the people too.
