Fat Albert Sidelined For This Weekend At Pensacola Beach

WEAR TV3— The Blue Angels’ iconic C-130J support aircraft, Fat Albert, will not perform during the 2026 air show season as it undergoes extensive structural maintenance in the United Kingdom, including a center wing box replacement designed to extend the aircraft’s service life for years to come. While the aircraft is out of service, the Blue Angels will continue their demonstration schedule using alternate logistical support, and officials expect Fat Albert to return to the skies in time for the 2027 season.

Shocking?!? Not Really. Iran Doesn't Live Up To Their End Of The Deal

Okaloosa School Board Talks Tax Millage

Get The Coast— Members of the Okaloosa County School Board are explaining that while they vote each year on the district’s overall millage rate, much of that rate is determined by formulas established by the State of Florida. The school tax rate is made up of several components—including the required local effort, discretionary operating funds, and capital outlay—with the state setting or limiting many of those portions. As property values rise, the millage rate can decrease while still generating more revenue, meaning a lower rate does not necessarily translate into lower tax collections. School leaders emphasized that the annual budget process follows state law and public hearings before the final millage rate is approved.
