Downtown Pensacola Shooting Kills One Saturday

WEAR TV3— A shooting in downtown Pensacola during Fourth of July weekend celebrations left one 19-year-old man dead and six others injured early Sunday morning. The incident occurred near the intersection of Palafox and Intendencia streets, where large crowds had gathered following the holiday festivities. Police said the surviving victims, who range in age from 16 to 26, are expected to recover. Pelosi's Husband Suspect In Hit-And-Run

One Killed In Okaloosa County Homemade Go-Cart Crash

WEAR TV3— A 32-year-old Crestview man died Friday night after the homemade go-kart he was driving collided with a pickup truck on Garden City Road in Okaloosa County. According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the go-kart briefly traveled onto the shoulder before the driver lost control and reentered the roadway, where it was struck by an oncoming pickup. The go-kart driver was pronounced dead at the scene, while the 26-year-old pickup driver sustained minor injuries. The crash remains under investigation by state troopers.

Football Camp To Be Held At Choctaw Hosted By Former Gators Players

Get The Coast— Former Choctawhatchee High School standout and University of Florida offensive lineman Aaron Deal is returning to Fort Walton Beach to host the third annual Florida Community Football Camp, a free event for children ages 6 to 12 at Choctawhatchee High School. The camp will feature football instruction, skills and drills led by Deal and several former Florida Gators, giving young athletes the opportunity to learn from experienced players in a fun and encouraging environment. Each participant will receive a complimentary camp T-shirt and lunch as organizers continue their mission of promoting community, family, and youth development through football.
