Fatal Accident On 285 Kills FWB Man

WJHG TV7— A 60-year-old man was killed in a head-on crash on State Road 285 in Okaloosa County, according to the Florida Highway Patrol. The collision also seriously injured a 40-year-old adult and an 11-year-old child, both of whom were taken to a hospital for treatment. Authorities are investigating the cause of the crash.

South Walton Gulf Waters Closed After Child Gets Injured

Gen X and Millenials Dying Earlier Than Older Generations

Don't Expect Any Official Election Results From CA Anytime Soon

CalMatter— California voters may have cast their ballots, but many election results will take days or even weeks to become final because the state continues counting mail-in ballots that arrive after Election Day as long as they are postmarked on time. Election officials must also verify signatures, process provisional ballots, and complete other checks before certifying results, a process designed to prioritize accuracy over speed. As a result, several close races across the state could remain undecided for some time after voting ends.
