Okaloosa County Considering Doing Away With EC Rider

Idiot Intentionally Drives CyberTruck Into Lake To Test "Wade Mode"

NY Post— A Texas man was arrested after authorities said he deliberately drove his Tesla Cybertruck into Grapevine Lake while attempting to test the vehicle’s “Wade Mode” capability, apparently assuming it could travel through deeper water. The truck quickly ran into rocks, became disabled, and began filling with water, forcing the driver and passenger to escape through a window and wade back to shore as onlookers reacted humorously to the scene. Police said the driver later acknowledged he was trying to use the Cybertruck’s off-road water feature, despite Tesla stating the mode is intended only for shallow water crossings. Officials ultimately removed the vehicle with a crane and charged the driver with multiple offenses related to restricted lake access and water safety violations.
