Problems In Obama Household? Thanks Trump!

DailyMailBarack Obama has acknowledged that staying active in politics after his presidency—particularly in response to Donald Trump and the current political climate—has put strain on his relationship with Michelle Obama. While he would have preferred to step back and enjoy a quieter life, he feels a strong sense of duty to remain involved, whereas Michelle would rather he slow down and focus more on their time together at home. This اختلاف in priorities has led to real frustration and tension between them, though both have dismissed rumors of deeper issues or divorce, explaining that they are simply adjusting to a new stage of life after many years in the public eye.

Hail Mary Thrown For Spirit Airlines

BroBibleAfter Spirit Airlines went under, one man quickly started an online campaign encouraging ordinary people to pool money to buy the airline, and the idea spread rapidly. In roughly 24 hours, the effort attracted about $23 million in pledged contributions, generating so much traffic that the website crashed and had to temporarily halt signups. However, the funds aren’t actually collected yet—just expressions of interest—and experts note that acquiring an airline would realistically require hundreds of millions, if not billions, of dollars.

Former Navarre Beach Fire Chief Violates Parole After Positive Cocaine Test

WEAR TV3Former Navarre Beach Fire Chief Daniel Fureigh, 56, was arrested again after violating his probation—stemming from a prior DUI case—by testing positive for cocaine, according to court records. He was booked into Santa Rosa County Jail early Thursday and released later that day on bond. The Navarre Beach Fire Rescue District announced it is now moving to appoint an interim chief while searching for a permanent replacement, noting it will continue providing uninterrupted emergency services. Fureigh had been placed on one year of probation in February after his DUI charge was reduced to reckless driving, with conditions including abstaining from drugs and alcohol. Records show he tested positive for cocaine on April 2, with confirmation on April 10, and also failed to attend a required Drunk Driving Impact Panel session. He is scheduled to appear in court on May 12.

Today's Holidays

Celebrate the weird stuff. We do.

Holiday #1 of 4

Oyster Day

Oyster Day is that annual reminder that humans looked at a damp rock with a pulse and said, “Yes. Let’s make this a personality.” You celebrate by slurping sea-snot on purpose, pretending you taste “notes,” and acting shocked when it tastes like the ocean’s armpit. Restaurants trot out happy-hour deals like they’re doing charity work, and everybody suddenly becomes a marine biologist with strong opinions about lemon versus mignonette. It’s absurd, you know it’s absurd, and yet here you are—dressing up indigestion as tradition and calling it a good time.
