James Comey Indicted - Arrest Warrant Issued

NY Times— Former FBI Director James Comey has been indicted over a controversial social media post showing seashells arranged to read “86 47,” which prosecutors interpret as a threat against Donald Trump, the 47th president. While “86” can mean to eliminate or get rid of something, Comey maintains the post was harmless and not intended as a threat. The indictment brings two federal charges, including making a threat against the president and transmitting that threat across state lines.

Eglin AFB Pilots Fly Over Capital To Welcome King Charles

WEAR TV3— In Washington, D.C., pilots and maintainers from Eglin Air Force Base supported a ceremonial flyover as four F-35 Lightning II aircraft passed over the White House to welcome King Charles III and Queen Camilla. The jets were deployed from the 58th and 60th Fighter Squadrons within the 33rd Fighter Wing, a primary training hub for F-35 pilots. California Woman Terrorized By A Bird

NY Post— A woman in California says a persistent mockingbird has been harassing her outside her home, repeatedly dive-bombing, screeching, and seeming to single her out by swooping at her head and even appearing to wait for her. Experts explain the behavior is likely due to territorial instincts during nesting season, when mockingbirds are known to aggressively defend their space, and the woman says she has altered her daily routine to avoid encounters with the bird.

Former Bookeeper Arrested In Santa Rosa County

WEAR TV3— In Navarre, Florida, deputies arrested former Holley-Navarre Intermediate School bookkeeper Becky Jean Lynch, 50, on charges of grand theft between $10,000 and $20,000. She is being held at the Santa Rosa County Jail on a $2,500 bond after resigning from her position on April 13. According to the Santa Rosa County Sheriff's Office, the investigation began after reports of unauthorized credit card purchases and missing funds from school accounts she previously managed, with the Santa Rosa County School District finance department determining that more than $15,000 had been taken.
