Authorities say two masked individuals entered the residence, demanded property, and fled before law enforcement arrived. Messy Homes Means Less Free Time - Like, That's A Surprise?

NY PostA recent survey suggests the average person loses roughly six hours each week to cleaning, preparation, and tidying up—essentially the equivalent of a full workday. This ongoing burden is taking a toll, with many people reporting that in recent months they’ve skipped social plans, hesitated to invite guests over, or even argued with others because their homes weren’t clean. Most respondents say they struggle to relax until everything is in order, contributing to feelings of stress and disappointment that adult life isn’t as enjoyable as they had imagined. Overall, clutter and household upkeep are not just routine tasks—they’re significantly impacting people’s free time and overall quality of life.

Choctaw, Niceville, South Walton and Rocky Bayou Into Baseball Playoffs

Get The CoastThe Florida High School Athletic Association released its baseball playoff brackets Monday, sending four local teams into the postseason with very different paths toward Fort Myers. In Class 5A, Niceville enters as a No. 2 seed behind powerhouse Chiles and opens at home against Beachside, with potential matchups against Mosley or Columbia before a likely showdown with top-seeded Chiles. In Class 4A, Choctaw headlines the region as the No. 1 seed and appears to have a favorable path, beginning with Baker County and possibly facing Arnold or St. Augustine before a tougher test against Bishop Kenny or Clay. Class 3A features South Walton as the clear favorite, with a manageable გზა through Wolfson and likely rematches against familiar opponents, positioning them as strong Final Four contenders. Meanwhile, in Class 1A, Rocky Bayou, despite being a No. 7 seed, earned the chance to host a first-round game against St. Joseph’s Academy but faces a difficult road that could include top-seeded St. John’s Country Day, making their postseason run a challenging but not impossible task.

Who Are The Bigger Golddiggers - Men or Women?

NY PostA recent study suggests that “gold-digging” behavior is no longer associated primarily with women, finding that men are just as likely—if not more so—to pursue relationships for financial gain, particularly among certain groups. Researchers emphasize that the strongest indicators aren’t gender but personality traits, with higher levels of narcissism, manipulation, and even psychopathic tendencies linked to financially motivated dating. These individuals often have strong confidence in their own attractiveness, are more likely to live in large urban areas, and may present themselves as charming or emotionally perceptive to appeal to potential partners. The study also warns that some men who appear especially sensitive or progressive on the surface may still be driven by financial motives behind the scenes.

UPIA group of teens in Kansas skipped the traditional limo for a far more unforgettable ride. Today's Holidays

Celebrate the weird stuff. We do.

Holiday #1 of 4

Kindergarten Day

Kindergarten Day is that special little calendar prank where grown adults pretend the most feral year of human development is something to “honor” instead of quietly survive. It’s a celebration of tiny people with huge feelings, sticky hands, and the raw confidence to ask you why you’re old while you’re still paying off your own student loans. Everybody’s supposed to clap for finger-paint masterpieces, practice sharing, and remember the sacred classroom virtues: nap time, snack time, and tattling with conviction. Consider it a public service announcement disguised as a holiday—because nothing says “community” like being emotionally humbled by someone who can’t tie their shoes but can absolutely read your soul.
