Ask Uncle Bobby

Bad advice for good people.

As heard on the B-Team Morning Show

Each weekday, some poor soul writes in for help. Uncle Bobby gives them the worst advice we can legally put on the air.

April 20 · Today's Letter

Today's Holidays

Celebrate the weird stuff. We do.

Holiday #1 of 4

Doge Day

Doge Day is that annual moment when the internet digs up its favorite wide-eyed Shiba Inu and pretends it’s a national tradition, like fireworks or arguing with your uncle about taxes. It started as a goofy, grassroots “celebrate the meme” thing and somehow evolved into a semi-organized excuse to post “much wow” like it’s a spiritual practice and not a cry for help. People spam the dog, buy the coin, chant the slogans, and act surprised when none of it fixes their mood or their bank account. It’s absurd on purpose, and that’s the point—because if you can’t build a holiday out of nonsense, what are we even doing with thumbs and Wi‑Fi?
