Santa Rosa County Family Pleads For Return Of Daughter

WEAR TV3A family in Milton, Florida is urgently asking for help in finding their missing 15-year-old daughter, Adriana Hernandez, who was last seen at their home on Bruce Lane on April 7. Initially believed to be a runaway, authorities have since issued a statewide AMBER Alert and now suspect she may have been taken against her will, possibly manipulated by an adult, as her parents say she has never left home before. As search efforts expand across state lines, including into Georgia, with assistance from the FBI, her father expressed deep concern and pleaded for her safe return, saying the entire family misses her and needs her home. Adriana is described as 5'1", about 130 pounds, with brown hair and eyes, and was last seen wearing a black Reebok t-shirt. Authorities are urging anyone with information to come forward as the search continues.

Gen Z Relying On Parents To Pay Bills

CNBCAn increasing number of Gen Z adults are depending on their parents for financial support, a trend that is becoming normalized for many families. Recent research shows that about two-thirds of parents are helping their adult children cover expenses like rent, groceries, or housing, largely due to the rising cost of living—especially high housing prices—which makes it difficult for young adults to stay financially independent even while working. However, this assistance is creating financial pressure for parents, with more than half reporting it is straining their own budgets and forcing them to use savings or postpone personal financial plans. Experts suggest this pattern is likely to continue, as extended financial support into the mid-20s or beyond becomes more common in response to current economic conditions.

Don't Drive And Listen To NEW Music

NY TimesNew research suggests that major album release days may come with increased road risks, as traffic fatalities rise by nearly 15% when popular artists like Taylor Swift, Drake, or Bad Bunny release new music. This spike translates to roughly 18 additional deaths per day and is largely attributed to distracted driving, with people using their phones to search for and play new songs instead of focusing on the road. Interestingly, the study found the increase was not linked to drunk driving, but was more common among sober drivers, particularly those driving alone.

Ask Uncle Bobby

Bad advice for good people.

As heard on the B-Team Morning Show

Each weekday, some poor soul writes in for help. Uncle Bobby gives them the worst advice we can legally put on the air.

April 14 · Today's Letter

Dear Uncle Bobby,

I feel like my coworkers are undermining me on purpose. My ideas get repeated by someone else and suddenly they are praised, and I get ignored or shut down in meetings. I have started to worry they are working together against me. What should I do?

Reach as High as You Can Day

Reach as High as You Can Day is that special little calendar hiccup where we all pretend stretching your arms toward the ceiling is a personality trait and ambition can be fixed with a good shoulder pop. The idea’s simple: aim higher than you usually do—career, goals, dreams, top shelf—whatever’s been sitting up there judging you. It’s wholesome on paper, dangerous in practice, because half of you are gonna “reach” for enlightenment and end up on a wobbly chair with a broom handle and a lawsuit. Still, I respect it: one day a year we admit we want more, then immediately negotiate with gravity, reality, and our own questionable decision-making.
