Pam Bondi Diagnosed With Thyroid Cancer

NY PostFormer Florida Attorney General Pam Bondi was reportedly diagnosed with thyroid cancer not long after President Trump removed her from office earlier this year. According to reports, the 60-year-old has already undergone treatment and is currently recovering. The diagnosis became public after Trump named Bondi to a White House advisory panel on artificial intelligence, prompting an outpouring of support from allies and former officials online. While Bondi has largely remained private about her condition, thyroid cancer is widely considered highly treatable, especially when detected early, with survival rates exceeding 98%.

Today's Music Is SOOOO Repetitive

YourTangoA new report suggests there may be some truth behind the idea that today’s music all sounds alike, citing research that found modern songs have become increasingly repetitive and simplified over time. After analyzing more than 20,000 songs across multiple centuries and genres, researchers discovered that contemporary pop, rock, hip-hop, and jazz rely heavily on repeated melodies, familiar chord progressions, and recycled production techniques, while older music often featured greater complexity and musical variety. The study points to streaming platforms, radio trends, auto-tune, sampling, and algorithm-driven recommendations as major factors encouraging artists to create catchy, formula-based songs designed for mass appeal rather than originality. Still, researchers noted that many listeners are pushing back by exploring vinyl records, CDs, and underground music scenes in search of more unique and adventurous sounds.

Ask Uncle Bobby

Bad advice for good people.

As heard on the B-Team Morning Show

Each weekday, some poor soul writes in for help. Uncle Bobby gives them the worst advice we can legally put on the air.

May 27 · Today's Letter

Dear Uncle Bobby,

I follow the rules at work closely, but it feels like the people who bend or ignore them get ahead faster. I am risk-averse and worried that staying compliant is holding me back. Is rebelling at work actually a smart move for career growth?

Nothing to Fear Day

Nothing to Fear Day is that cute little calendar square where we all pretend anxiety got canceled like a bad sitcom. The idea’s simple: pick one thing that rattles your cage—spiders, failure, your own search history—and stare it down long enough to realize it’s mostly just your brain doing jazz improv at 3 a.m. Folks use it to practice courage, swap “inspiring” stories, and post the kind of motivational nonsense that makes you want to chew drywall. And sure, it’s absurd, but so is paying taxes and still having potholes—so today we try bravery on like a borrowed jacket and see what it costs.
