The news we couldn't ignore if we tried

If You've Ever Thought Of Flying Frontier - Don't!

DailyMailChaos erupted at Miami International Airport when three women attempted to board a Frontier Airlines flight without paying for extra luggage. After being told by staff that they needed to cover the cost of an additional carry-on, they refused, argued with employees, and forced their way through a restricted area onto the plane. Once onboard, their tickets were canceled and they were repeatedly instructed to leave, but they did not comply, prompting police intervention. Officers cleared the aircraft and ultimately removed the women, causing a delay of over an hour. During the incident, one woman allegedly spat on an employee, another made threats, and a viral video captured one of them dancing in handcuffs while being escorted away. All three were arrested and charged with trespassing and resisting officers.

Vaping Isn't Necessarily Safer Than Smoking Cigarettes

DailyMailResearchers reviewing studies published between 2017 and 2025 found evidence linking vaping to both lung and oral cancers. Their analysis showed that vaping can alter a user’s DNA, increasing the likelihood of cell dysfunction associated with cancer. The findings also indicate that vaping damages respiratory tissue, contributing to lung cancer risk, and disrupts the oral microbiome, leading to inflammation and a higher chance of developing oral cancer. Overall, the researchers concluded that vaping should not be considered a safer alternative to traditional cigarette smoking.

Illinois Couple Gets Married At Buc-ee's In Tennessee

PeopleAn Illinois couple chose an unconventional setting for their wedding, tying the knot at a Buc-ee’s gas station in Tennessee during a weekend road trip. What began as a joke suggestion from the groom quickly became a serious plan when his fiancée loved the idea, especially since they wanted to avoid the high costs and overwhelming choices of a traditional wedding or even elopement. They arranged for an officiant to meet them in Sevierville, where, on the morning of the ceremony, they were joined only by the officiant and a photographer. The brief ceremony lasted about three minutes, and the couple now plans to celebrate with family and friends at a later date.

Right Handless Woman Accused Of Holding Phone With Right Hand While Driving

YahooIn Lake Worth Beach, Florida, a woman received a $116 ticket after a deputy claimed he saw her holding a phone in her right hand while driving—despite the fact that she does not have a right hand. She later confronted the deputy on camera, asking him to repeat his observation before revealing that her arm ends below the elbow, and the exchange quickly went viral as many pointed out the apparent error. The woman plans to challenge the citation in court, noting that Florida law requires evidence of actively typing or texting while driving, not merely holding a phone.

Giant Potty Chair Built In FL Man's Back Yard

Click OrlandoA Florida artist built a towering 24-foot “potty chair” in his yard, featuring a hole in the seat and a slab of vinyl below it painted with an open-mouthed clown face. The unusual creation was inspired by a miniature version he received from a French artist in 1992, and he said the idea stayed with him for decades. Although he had wanted to construct the oversized chair for 30 years, he only moved forward with the project after retiring in 2014.

Uncle Bobby

Ask Uncle Bobby

Bad advice for good people.

As heard on the B-Team Morning Show

Each weekday, some poor soul writes in for help. Uncle Bobby gives them the worst advice we can legally put on the air.

April 9 · Today's Letter

Dear Uncle Bobby,

I’m in a social circle where everyone talks about their accomplishments and self-improvement, and I feel pressure to exaggerate my own achievements to fit in. How do I handle this without it blowing up later?

Today's Holidays

Celebrate the weird stuff. We do.

Holiday #1 of 4

International Taco Day

International Taco Day is that annual moment when society pretends a tortilla folded around leftovers is a cultural milestone, and everybody nods like this isn’t just lunch wearing a party hat. Restaurants roll out “deals” that somehow cost more, people post blurry photos of salsa like they discovered fire, and your coworker suddenly has strong opinions about authenticity despite thinking cumin is a felony. It’s harmless, it’s delicious, and it’s a little too convenient that the solution to modern despair is “eat three and call it self-care.” Anyway, clear your schedule and lower your standards—this holiday isn’t here to change your life, it’s here to prove you’ll celebrate anything if it comes with guac.
