The news we couldn't ignore if we tried

Walton County Arrests More Spring Breakers - This Time From Okie State

Walton Co. Sheriff's Office Facebook Page— From Walton County Sheriff's Office Facebook Page: Hold on there, Pistol Pete. This looks mighty familiar. Oklahoma State University has joined the chat. If you're getting a little deja vu, it's because less than a week ago, this property management company had a tiger by the tail with this address. Yep. This is the same location LSU was told to vacate just a few short days ago. The message we're trying to send is simple: if you're coming to Walton County expecting to negatively impact the quality of life for residents, you will be dealt with accordingly. That may or may not include an eviction, an arrest, or both. Property management companies have had enough. "lEt tHeM bE kIdS yOu pArTy pOoPeRs..." 🙄 That can be done respectfully and with your neighbors in mind. Not by getting multiple calls in the middle of the night for being rowdy, Cowboy. No Pokes to the 'ol Pokey this time. But, they ain't stayin' here. SEC - 0 Big 12 Conference - 0 WCSO - 4

Politico— A recent UC Berkeley Citrin Center for Public Opinion Research–POLITICO poll indicates that nearly half of Californians (48%) believe Hollywood holds excessive influence over the state’s politics, while only 29% have a favorable opinion of the entertainment industry. Spring Breaker Gets Seriously Hurt During Stunt In Texas

DailyMail— A reckless spring-break incident in Texas turned into a major crash when a shirtless passenger was seen dancing on the roof of a moving Jeep shortly before it collided with another vehicle. Littly Willy Is Getting Some Help From Clinics These Days

The Sun— An increasing number of men are discreetly spending as much as $20,000 on non-surgical penis enhancement procedures offered at clinics, often in strip-mall medical spas. These treatments typically involve filler-like injections, similar to Botox, that can increase girth in less than an hour and appeal to a wide range of clients, including fathers, entertainers, and even cancer patients seeking a confidence boost. While clinics report rising demand and advertise the procedure as customizable and reversible, medical experts caution that improper administration can lead to serious complications such as infection, disfigurement, or sexual dysfunction.

Today's Holidays

Celebrate the weird stuff. We do.

Holiday #1 of 4

Awkward Moments Day

Awkward Moments Day is that annual civic duty where we stop pretending we’re smooth, polished adults and instead honor the sacred tradition of saying the wrong thing at the wrong volume in front of the wrong people. It’s a holiday for the accidental oversharers, the botched handshakes, the “you too” responses, and the folks who wave back at strangers like they’re running for office. The point isn’t to fix anything—this isn’t Self-Help Tuesday—it’s to admit we’re all one poorly timed joke away from eating lunch alone in our cars. So take a breath, relive your greatest hits of public discomfort, and remember: dignity is just confidence that hasn’t been audited yet.
