Illegal Immigrants Indicted In Pensacola

The seven newly indicted defendants, from Honduras and Guatemala, were located in Escambia or Okaloosa counties in 2025 or early 2026 after earlier deportations ranging from 2010 to 2025; their cases are scheduled for upcoming court proceedings before federal judges in Pensacola. Illegal reentry after deportation carries a maximum penalty of two years in prison and a $250,000 fine, though two defendants face enhanced penalties of up to 10 years due to prior qualifying convictions. The investigations were conducted by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement, including Homeland Security Investigations and Enforcement and Removal Operations, with assistance from several Florida law-enforcement agencies.

FL Man Sticks Thermos Inside His Own Bodily Cavity

Smoking Gun— A Florida man, Walter Frymire, whose arrest drew attention due to a bizarre incident involving a concealed thermos, has accepted a plea deal and been released from jail. Frymire pleaded no contest to charges including possessing a meth pipe and threatening a sheriff’s deputy, while prosecutors dropped a felony drug charge as part of the agreement. He had been in custody since his October arrest but was released after serving about five months of a 180-day sentence.
