Trump Wants UFO Classified Docs To Be Released

Daily Mail— President Trump is calling for the release of government files on UFOs and unidentified aerial phenomena, directing the Pentagon and other agencies to locate and declassify materials tied to aliens in response to what he describes as strong public interest. His push follows criticism of remarks made by former President Obama on a podcast about extraterrestrial life, with Trump accusing Obama of sharing classified information and saying he “made a big mistake,” even as Trump acknowledged he does not know whether aliens exist. Obama had previously joked that aliens are “real,” but later clarified that he has seen no evidence of extraterrestrial contact, adding that the immense size of the universe makes the possibility of life beyond Earth statistically plausible.

Indian Temple Mound Museum Set To Re-Open

Daily Mail— The City of Fort Walton Beach Heritage Park & Cultural Center has announced the grand reopening of the Indian Temple Mound Museum at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 28, 2026, following a major expansion and renovation project years in the making. Construction of a new 4,800-square-foot addition was completed late last year, featuring a classroom, offices, exhibit storage, and an expanded museum store that opened in November 2025. Since then, staff and volunteers have upgraded existing exhibits and added new ones to the original building, which highlights thousands of years of Native American settlement in the area. The reopening celebration will include presentations, a ribbon cutting, and free admission for the day. Regular admission afterward will be $5 for adults, $4.50 for seniors and military members, and $3 for children ages 4–17, with free entry for children 3 and under; tickets include access to all Heritage Park museums and historic buildings. The city expressed gratitude to former Councilwoman Chris Gibson and her family for their generous donation supporting the expansion, with additional funding provided by the Fort Walton Beach Community Redevelopment Agency, Okaloosa County’s Tourist Development Tax, and the Okaloosa County Infrastructure Surtax. The Heritage Park & Cultural Center, part of the city’s Recreation and Cultural Services Department, is located at 139 Miracle Strip Parkway SE and is open 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday.

National Handcuff Day, celebrated every February 20th, marks the anniversary of the patent for the modern handcuff—because apparently we needed a holiday to honor industrialized restraint. It's the only festive occasion where both cops and kink enthusiasts feel equally seen, which is either beautiful or deeply troubling. Somewhere between a civic nod to law enforcement and a thinly veiled excuse for people to post suggestive selfies with police tape, it straddles the line between justice and foreplay like a drunk acrobat. And if that doesn’t sum up America, I don’t know what does.
