Michigan Teacher Reaches 67 Years In The Classroom At Age 90

NY Post— A Michigan teacher who once taught Robin Williams, Courtney B. Vance, and Los Angeles Clippers owner Steve Ballmer has earned a Guinness World Record for spending 67 years in the classroom. Beverly Hannet-Price, 90, was recognized as the longest-serving female language teacher after teaching thousands of students over a career that began in 1958 following her graduation from Albion College with a master’s degree in English, included teaching posts in Alabama and Florida, and continues today, fueled by a passion for education that has kept retirement off her mind; she was also present when Vance received his Hollywood Walk of Fame star in December.
