President Trump Throws Federal Law Enforcement Into Action To Find Savannah Guthrie's Mom

Daily CallerPresident Donald Trump commented on reports that Savannah Guthrie’s mother has gone missing, urging strong federal involvement and saying law enforcement should use every available resource to find her and secure her safe return. He described the situation as a serious public-safety issue, emphasizing that alleged abduction and ransom cases demand swift, coordinated action at the highest levels. Guthrie has said she believes her mother, Nancy, is being held for ransom and that she is “ready to talk,” sharing a video message directed at the alleged captors asking for proof that her mother is alive and inviting them to make contact. While details remain scarce and authorities have not confirmed key aspects publicly, the matter is being handled as an active investigation.

Super Bowl Tickets Costing A Second Mortgage This Year

Gulf Coast NewsSuper Bowl ticket prices are already soaring on the secondary market, with resale listings showing entry-level seats around $6,000 and premium views or VIP packages climbing beyond $20,000, fueled by strong early demand even before the matchup is decided. Fake Cop Beats Third Impersonation Case After Defending Himself at Trial

Chicago Sun TimesA Chicago man dubbed the “fake cop” has secured another legal win after a Cook County judge found 67-year-old Robert Ellis not guilty of impersonating a police officer. Prosecutors alleged Ellis displayed a badge from a questionable agency during a 2021 encounter at a motor-vehicle office, but Ellis, who represented himself, argued the state failed to prove he falsely claimed legitimate police authority. The judge agreed, marking Ellis’s third acquittal in similar cases and ruling that the evidence did not meet the standard for conviction, despite his history of repeated arrests.

Today's Holidays

Celebrate the weird stuff. We do.

Holiday #1 of 4

National Fart Day

National Fart Day, because apparently we needed a calendar excuse to weaponize bean night. It’s the one day a year where gastrointestinal terrorism is not just tolerated—it’s celebrated, like a parade of invisible war crimes. Somewhere between Valentine’s Day and the apocalypse, folks decided flatulence deserved a spotlight, probably during a committee meeting that should’ve been an email. So now we’ve got a holiday that honors the body’s least subtle betrayal, and buddy, it’s got more hot air than a congressional hearing.
