Chargers Advance Past Bears In OT

ESPNMatthew Stafford and Sean McVay locked eyes before engineering the overtime drive that lifted the Los Angeles Rams past the Chicago Bears 20-17 on a cold, snowy Sunday night, advancing them to the NFC championship game. After Caleb Williams stunned the crowd with a last-second, long-distance touchdown pass to force overtime, Kam Curl intercepted Williams on Chicago’s first OT possession, setting up Harrison “Thiccer Kicker” Mevis’ 42-yard game-winning field goal. Stafford, despite an uneven night, delivered key first-down throws — including one to Puka Nacua — to move into range, while the Rams’ defense came up with crucial fourth-down stops and turnovers throughout the game. Chicago, which had rallied repeatedly all season under first-year coach Ben Johnson, fell short despite Williams’ late heroics and two touchdown passes, as Los Angeles improved to 14-5 and earned a trip to Seattle for its first conference title game since the 2021 Super Bowl run.

FWB Man, Tre DuPree, Is Flying Home Today After Accident In Mexico

GoFundMeHeather Hughes, owner of FWB Bowl, shared good news on Sunday. Hughes' nephew, Tre, is being transported back to the United States today, and although an exact time is not yet known, knowing he is coming home brings tremendous relief. The family is deeply grateful for every prayer, share, message, and act of support, and truly feels carried by the outpouring of love, while asking that prayers for Tre continue and his story keep being shared. He will be taken to Blake Medical Center in Bradenton, Florida, and while he remains sedated and doctors are closely monitoring early signs of infection, he is stable and has been cleared to travel. The family is taking this journey one step at a time, learning as they go, and is thankful they do not have to walk this road alone. Additional fundraisers will be coming in the next several weeks. Ask Uncle Bobby

Bad advice for good people.

As heard on the B-Team Morning Show

Each weekday, some poor soul writes in for help. Uncle Bobby gives them the worst advice we can legally put on the air.

January 24 · Today's Letter

Dear Uncle Bobby,

My boss and coworkers rarely give clear directions and instead use jargon and vague phrases. I am constantly guessing what they mean and I feel out of the loop. How should I handle this at work?

Today's Holidays

Celebrate the weird stuff. We do.

Holiday #1 of 4

Tin Can Day

Tin Can Day, for those keeping score at home, is the annual reminder that humanity once looked at a metal cylinder and thought, “Yeah, let’s eat soup outta that forever.” It’s a celebration of packaging that outlives both the food and your last three relationships. Supposedly it’s about recycling, but let’s not kid ourselves—if guilt was fuel, your garage full of spaghetti sauce cans would power a small dictatorship. So light a candle, kiss your aluminum overlords, and remember: civilization peaked when we made corn shelf-stable for a decade.
