TSA Shares Some Interesting Items Confiscated In 2025

NY Post— TSA officers say passengers attempted to bring an array of unusual and dangerous items through airports in 2025, including firearms and disguised weapons. At Newark International Airport, officers in October discovered a handgun hidden inside a guitar case, with the passenger claiming it was a gift and they were unaware of its contents. Earlier in the year, a BB gun was found concealed in the lining of a suitcase, and in December officers uncovered multiple throwing stars in a checked bag. Additional bizarre finds included a flashlight that doubled as a taser, a knife hidden inside a comb, and drugs concealed in a paper towel tucked into a passenger’s shoe.
