If At First You Get Deported, Illegally Reenter Again

WEAR TV3Seven men from Mexico, Guatemala, and Honduras have been indicted in the Northern District of Florida for illegally reentering the United States after previously being deported or removed, according to an announcement from the U.S. Attorney’s Office. The individuals—Basilio Coxcahua-Arohua, Luis Manuel Moscoso-Vidal, Marco Olavarrieta-Beranza, Roberto Rios-Narvaez, Melvin Roberto Saavedra-Vasquez, Edin Francisco Trinidad-Moradel, and Yunior Joehl Vasquez-Garcia—were arrested between October 22 and December 4, with most being held in the Santa Rosa County Jail and Trinidad-Moradel housed in the Walton County Jail, while records for Vasquez-Garcia were not available. "A Spritz Of Pepper On Your Arby's, Ma'am?"

Daily MailIn Indiana, a couple’s late-night DoorDash order turned alarming when the wife began choking after taking a few bites, prompting the husband to review their doorbell camera, which appeared to show the delivery driver spraying something—believed to be pepper spray—into the food bag. The couple quickly alerted DoorDash and law enforcement, leading the local sheriff’s office to launch a product-tampering investigation that could result in serious felony charges. The case now serves as a warning to takeout customers to keep doorbell cameras functioning, as investigators and the victims believe the meal was not compromised by accident but by intentional harm.

Car Thief Claims He Was Teleported Into Theft

The Smoking GunAfter crashing a stolen BMW in Florida, Calvin Johnson, 36, told police that he hadn’t stolen the car but had been “teleported into the vehicle,” according to an arrest affidavit. Investigators say Johnson took the 2018 convertible while its owner was walking his dog at Ormond Beach’s Centennial Park, finding the keys in an unlocked BMW. Johnson, driving at speeds over 100 mph, crashed the car and was rescued by passing motorists. When officers arrived, he claimed to have been teleported, made a reference to the X-Men, and said, “You saved me from the aliens.” Johnson was taken to a local hospital under guard and will be transferred to jail after his release. He faces felony grand theft auto charges and driving on a suspended license, with a bond set at $2,650. Johnson has an extensive criminal history, including recent convictions for trespassing, obstruction, loitering, and grand theft, for which he reportedly said, “I just felt like it.”

Ask Uncle Bobby

Bad advice for good people.

As heard on the B-Team Morning Show

Each weekday, some poor soul writes in for help. Uncle Bobby gives them the worst advice we can legally put on the air.

January 24 · Today's Letter

Dear Uncle Bobby,

I keep arguing with my partner about chores, and it feels like I am always the one losing the debate and doing more work. How do I stop getting pushed around and get things to feel fair?

Today's Holidays

Celebrate the weird stuff. We do.

Holiday #1 of 3

Nobel Prize Day

Nobel Prize Day — that magical time of year when we pretend giving a medal to some Swedish-approved overachiever makes the world a smarter place. It’s less a celebration of genius and more like a participation trophy for people who cured diseases while you were still trying to reset your email password. Every December 10th, we honor folks who’ve unlocked the secrets of the universe while the rest of us can’t unlock our front doors without YouTube. It’s humble pie season, served cold and sprinkled with smug.
