FWB Woman Goes Rogue At Local Business

WEAR TV3A 43-year-old Fort Walton Beach woman, Angelina Copeland, was arrested after allegedly breaking into a local business in Okaloosa County, causing extensive damage, setting a trash fire, and attempting to strike a firefighter with a metal broom. Firefighters responding to the trash fire found the business’s front door shattered and Copeland inside, and deputies later determined she had used brick pavers to break in, damaged a vending machine, and caused an estimated $11,000 in initial damages. Surveillance footage showed she had stayed in the business overnight, causing several thousand dollars more in damage and starting the trash can fire, while she was also linked to damage to a nearby business’s fence. Copeland, who refused to identify herself after being detained, faces potential additional charges including arson and criminal mischief and is being held without bond in the Okaloosa County Jail.

Uncle Bobby

Ask Uncle Bobby

Bad advice for good people.

As heard on the B-Team Morning Show

Each weekday, some poor soul writes in for help. Uncle Bobby gives them the worst advice we can legally put on the air.

January 24 · Today's Letter

Dear Uncle Bobby,

Every year my partner buys me Christmas gifts that are… well… clearly things they actually want. Last year it was noise-canceling headphones “so I could relax,” but somehow they ended up using them more than I did. This year I’m already nervous. How do I handle this without starting a fight?

Today's Holidays

Celebrate the weird stuff. We do.

Holiday #1 of 3

National Christmas Tree Day

National Christmas Tree Day. The one day a year we pretend dragging a dying fir corpse into the living room is festive instead of deranged. It’s celebrated by voluntarily vacuuming pine needles until March and arguing over whether tinsel is classy or just glitter’s drunk cousin. Like most holidays, it’s less about tradition and more about giving your HOA a reason to fine you for not owning a ladder.
