Trump Pardons Texas Democrat Accused Of Bribery

BreitbartPresident Trump on Wednesday pardoned Texas Democratic Rep. Henry Cuellar and his wife, Imelda, from a federal bribery and conspiracy case, arguing that they were targeted by a “weaponized” justice system. Trump claimed on social media that the couple faced prosecution because Cuellar criticized President Biden’s immigration policies, praising the congressman for opposing “open borders” and accusing Biden of retaliating against them for “speaking the truth.” The charges had alleged that the Cuellars accepted payments to help advance the interests of an energy company linked to Azerbaijan and a Mexican bank, including influencing legislation and delivering a pro-Azerbaijan speech in Congress. Cuellar has maintained that he and his wife are innocent.

Man Claims Mouse Bit Him In Movie Theater

KXXVAt a Cinemark theater in Waco, a moviegoer expecting a quiet evening instead felt a mouse run up and bite his arm during the film, startling him and alarming other patrons who said they had seen rodents darting between seats. Many audience members quickly left, with some deciding to avoid the theater afterward. Today's Holidays

Celebrate the weird stuff. We do.

Holiday #1 of 4

Santa's List Day

Santa’s List Day, December 4th, is when the jolly home invader allegedly finalizes his naughty-or-nice spreadsheet—because nothing says Christmas magic like surveillance-based morality. It’s the one day a year parents pretend their threats have legal precedent, and kids suddenly act like guilt-ridden politicians in an election year. Somewhere between elf labor violations and cookie-based bribery, we’re all just cosplaying innocence for an imaginary auditor in a red suit. But sure, let’s teach ethics via a man who reverse-burgles your living room if you’ve been sufficiently tolerable.
