Elton John Sings Praises For Trump's Potential

The Daily Beast— Elton John is drawing attention after saying President Trump could be regarded as “one of the greatest presidents in history” if he were to end the AIDS epidemic. He emphasized that this is not a political endorsement, explaining that his praise is about the historic significance of defeating AIDS, not about Trump personally, and he’s not telling anyone how to vote. John added that while Trump has been a longtime fan of his music, that has no bearing on his own political views. In short, John says any president who cures AIDS would earn a historic legacy — and Trump would be no exception.

Strongest Woman Competition Was Actually Won By A Man

NY Post— Organizers of the World’s Strongest Woman competition revoked this year’s title after determining that champion Jamie Booker is biologically male. Booker had won the Women’s Open division at the Official Strongman Games in Arlington, Texas, prompting runner-up Andrea Thompson of the UK to leave the podium in protest. Event officials later announced that, had they known Booker’s biological sex beforehand, she would not have been eligible to compete in the women’s category. Thompson has now been named the official winner, while Booker has not publicly responded to the decision.

Florida Woman + Texas Roadhouse = Machete Attack

Law & Crime— A Florida woman was arrested after allegedly attacking her boyfriend with a machete following an argument over photos on her phone. The confrontation began at a Texas Roadhouse when the boyfriend saw pictures of her hugging and holding hands with another man. He later went to her apartment to return her belongings, where she reportedly locked him in a bedroom and slashed his right elbow with the machete. He managed to escape and drove himself to the hospital with a serious laceration. The woman now faces charges including attempted murder, aggravated battery with a deadly weapon, and false imprisonment.

Tip: Don't Use Charcoal Grill For Heating A Home

ABC30— Two California residents were hospitalized after using a charcoal grill to heat their home, leading to dangerous carbon monoxide exposure. Emergency crews initially responded when a woman reported feeling unwell, and she was taken to the hospital with elevated carbon monoxide levels. A hazmat team later searched the property and found an elderly man in a detached garage also relying on the grill for heat; he was transported for medical care as well. The current conditions of both individuals have not been released.

There’s arguing, hoarding, people guarding the good Tupperware like it’s Fort Knox, and somehow my cousin Wanda — who brought nothing but a store-bought roll of paper towels — always leaves with half the mashed potatoes and all the pecan pie. How do I survive this year’s war over leftover side dishes without losing my mind?
