Jewelry sees the deepest overall markdowns at 42.2%, led by Belk’s steep 77.7% cuts, whereas consumer packaged goods have the smallest average discounts at 24.4%. Black Friday habits also continue to shift online, with 87.3 million Americans shopping from home in 2024 compared to 81.7 million visiting stores, and retailers now rolling out deals as early as October to stretch the season over several weeks.

Blue Angels' Fat Albert Headed To UK For Maintenance

WEAR TV3The U.S. Navy Blue Angels’ Fat Albert has departed Pensacola to undergo extensive maintenance in the United Kingdom. The aircraft is headed to Marshall Aerospace in Cambridge for critical upgrades designed to prolong its service life. The plane will also receive a fresh coat of paint in the Blue Angels’ signature colors.
